From November until April Koh Lipe can be reached by boat from Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta and several islands in the Andaman Sea with daily ferries to and from all locations
From May to November Koh Lipe can only be reached from Pak Barra only, with 1 daily boat going all year.
Pak Barra is the main ferry hub for Koh Lipe, with ferries running all year. It takes 2 hours to travel by minibus from Hat Yai to Pak Barra. You can travel to Hat Yai by plane, train or bus.
The quickest way from Bangkok or Chiang Mai is to fly to Hat Yai, and travel onwards to Pak Barra, from where there daily ferries to Koh Lipe, all year around. Alternatively you can travel by train or bus.

You can travel to Koh Lipe from Malaysia via Langkawi in high season. In Low season it is possible to travel from Langkawi to Satun and on to Pak Barra, or travel via Hat Yai.
